Night in Tame

A man speaks with a soldier at a roadblock as children play in the light cast by a food cart. The town’s electrical and telecommunications lines had been bombed by guerrillas, leaving the streets dark and quiet save for the drone of gas-powered generators. Colombian police and army personnel manned control points like this in an attempt to thwart attacks on the town center. Tame, Arauca, Colombia.
